Wein will participate in a panel discussion, presented by the Michigan House, as they consider “Building the Autonomous Work Force”. The scaled breakthrough of self-driving and electric cars will require a workforce with new, advanced skills to create, manage and maintain them. SXSW will bring together a group of government officials, corporate executives, and academics to talk about what type of modern training programs – from re-training to new certifications – are needed to close the skills gaps and build a new workforce for the digital mobility era.
Founded in 1987 in Austin, Texas, SXSW is best known for its conference and festivals that celebrate the convergence of the interactive, film, and music industries. SXSW proves that the most unexpected discoveries happen when diverse topics and people come together.
